The Global Clinic family is comprised of healthcare practitioners as well as non-practitioners with the united goal of providing safe, quality alternative healthcare to those in need.

As an organization founded by acupuncturists we strive to broaden acupuncture awareness and education while integrating it with other healthcare specialties—both conventional and non-conventional. To find out more about acupuncture or our organization, please contact us at theglobalclinic@gmail.com.

Global Clinic was founded by Keiko Golambos, L.Ac. and Alice Kim, C.M.T. in 2011.

Keiko Golambos, L.Ac., B.A., M.S.

Ms. Golambos studied Cultural Anthropology at Oxford University, UK and Kansai Gaidai University, Japan and received her B.A. in Art History from Binghamton University, NY and M.S. in Acupuncture from the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences, NY. She championed independent grassroots efforts in Guatemala, such as Indigenous women’s rights and women’s cooperatives. Her practice and volunteer experience ranged from hospital settings to various community and clinical centers such as the Aids Center of Queens County (ACQC) and Montefiore Hospital in NY. Ms. Golambos obtained her national board certification and license in Acupuncture and maintained a flourishing, private practice in NYC called the NY Acupuncture Project.

We dedicate this site and all current and future work in her memory.

Alice Kim, L.Ac., B.S., C.M.T.

Alice Kim currently resides as our President as well as co-founder. Together with Anne Keiko Golambos, Alice helped create Global Clinic when they were both students of acupuncture (Alice is a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City).  Today, Alice can be found at Healing Happy Hour in Chelsea, where she targets her patients’ needs with customized treatments, integrating modalities such as Acupuncture, aromatherapy, acupressure, massage, Reiki, and Chinese nutritional and herbal therapies. Her devotion to harmonious living is ignited when she can share the compelling and therapeutic benefits of Chinese and Asian medicine, especially with those lacking consistent access to basic healthcare.  It brings her immense joy working alongside volunteer practitioners on each Global Clinic mission, uniting as one cooperative in which people’s talents and collective passion for these powerful and curative arts are utilized, devotedly transforming one community at a time.

Peach Ciucur, B.S.

Although Ms. Ciucur majored in math and minored in Economics & Italian during her undergraduate studies, her main delicacy remains in project management.   With an undeniable love for travel and helping people wherever she goes, Peach combines her passions with an ever present smile .  As she recounts, “It is what my life is meant to be by following my calling for being part of a hands-on, open-creativity network, all while contributing and improvising- on-the-spot team that makes a difference to our humanity.

“My intrinsic motivation to be part of Global Clinic is one of the steps in my life long journey of altruistic giving to others that are less fortunate than me in ways that make a difference. Every day I practice humanitarianism. It gives me a feeling of relief to be part of the bigger picture.  My motivation is about giving without the expectation of anything extrinsic back.  Dream as if you’ll live forever.   Live as if you’ll die today. – James Dean
